Legacy: Expressions of Wisdom and Advice

“I was blessed with a noble Christian heritage. Within the legacy left to me resides the values of wisdom, faith, gratitude, humor, loyalty, strength, integrity, service, perseverance, charity, obedience, virtue, honor, patience, and hard work—just to name a few. I’ve observed many of these qualities in my parents, grandparents, other family members and friends, but I’ve often wondered how they acquired these qualities. Was it part of the legacy bequeathed to them by their progenitors, and if so, who exemplified or taught a certain quality, and why did a particular family member or associate choose to adopt and implement it in their own life?

I yearn to know how my ancestors felt about life and love, and crave to learn the details behind their choices; for most were happy—despite major trials and tribulations, and happiness, to me, is the measure of success. Perhaps it’s too late to gather bits of wisdom and advice from those who have passed on, but it’s not too late for me and you to share special experiences that helped us grow and learn!”

Author Wendy Soria proudly presents another specially designed workbook for her Legacy journal series. Legacy: Expressions of Wisdom and Advice is a prompt-journal that gives you the opportunity to reflect upon lessons learned from decisions made in life. The wisdom gained from coping with life’s difficult challenges, and solid advice based on personal experience is a wonderful legacy to leave the world, and it will certainly become a treasured keepsake for those who know and love you.

Everyday, we must examine our choices and try to embrace values that will bring satisfaction and joy. Many valuable lessons are learned the hard way. When we falter, pay the consequences, set it right, and move forward with determination to avoid making the same mistake again, or when we avoid mistakes by following another’s good example, we gain wisdom. Wisdom is a treasure to be shared with others, especially if we’ve paid dearly for it. When this wisdom is presented in written word, it can be reviewed, digested, and implemented by loved ones for years to come.

Embracing and strengthening the principled method of documenting successful decision-making enables us to leave a positive, exemplary legacy, which allows others to adopt the corresponding prize of wisdom shared.
